  We provide this letter to say thanks to you, Nita and Mack Mahoney, for being our builder, better known as M.E. Mahoney Building Company. Most people start the home buying process in one of two ways: You see a home you are interested in buying; consult a lender to find out how much money you can borrow or you buy a piece of land and consult with a builder who will custom build your home to your specifications.
  In 1995, while considering our options for a retirement home, we looked around central North Carolina since Brenda and I both have family in the general area. We found a suitable building site nestled on 2.4 acres at Huntsburg Estates in Louisburg, N.C. We next sought out a knowledgeable and dependable builder who could make us feel comfortable.
  In 1997, we met you, Mack and Nita. Unbeknown to us at that time we had also found the ideal builder (Mack and Nita Mahoney). Coincidentally, you happened to be our neighbors as you were in the process of building your own home next door. This gave us an additional comfort level knowing that the builder, you, also intended on making Huntsburg Estates your home.
  After two meetings with you, the Mahoney's, Brenda and I selected M.E. Mahoney as the builder for our home according to our specifications. In August 1999, I retired from my position as a Federal Agent in Washington, DC. Shortly thereafter, we signed a contract and agreed on a modified version of the Gracemore Model which was featured in the 1999 edition of the Franklin County Parade of Homes Magazine. In essence, we not only found an excellent builder but an awfully good neighbor who stands by his product.
  You worked very conscientiously to build our home exactly as agreed upon. You educated us on the general steps involved in home building and gave excellent advice concerning the financing of the construction and throughout the process, even after our home was completed; you have provided us with excellent customer service.

  This letter is a testimonial and a thank you for how pleased we are with our new home and with you as our builder. We are glad we chose you and the M. E. Mahoney Building Company to build our new home.
  Here's why: You said, "Your house will be a cut above." And you were right. The home you built for us is definitely a cut above the home we had. We moved from one of those track home developments where we had limited input and selection in the building process. With this home we were able to specify what we wanted. You built the house we wanted. The quality of the materials and workmanship really show. You delivered the home we wanted to us on schedule and on budget.
  Working with you couldn't have been easier. From the start you listened to what we wanted in a home and worked with us to get the house we really wanted. With M. E. Mahoney Building we were given flexibility and input throughout the whole building process.
  Mack, it is obvious that you took great care and consideration in every aspect of the building phase. I also think you "went the extra distance" in many of the construction processes, and it truly shows. You left your mark of quality throughout the house.
