This is Noted Texas Attorney, Howard L. Nations' reply to Duke University Administrators claim that it was a flawed 'organ donor system' which failed Jesica, and that they and UNOS have fixed the problems.

"UNOS guidelines at the time of Jesica's tragic transplant called for redundancy in order to avoid mismatching blood types. If any of eleven people charged with the responsibility of matching Jesica's blood to the donor's blood had met even their minimum standard of care and safety, Jesica would be alive today."
